How to Flash Custom Recovery/Stock Recovery [With PC] & How to Flash .img file?

Flash Recovery: It allows you to flash stock recovery or custom recovery to your MTK based device. Simply, add the scatter file in the SP Flash tool and locate the recovery.img image and flash it.

Here, the step by step instructions to Flash Stock Recovery or any custom Recovery using SP Flash Tool (Smart Phone Flash Tool) on Windows Computer.

Note: Your Android Smartphone should have atleast 40% to 50% of battery to perform this Process.

Flash Stock Recovery or Custom Recovery using Smart Phone Flash Tool

Step 1: Download and install Android USB Drivers on your Computer. If you alredy install it than skip it.

Step 2: Download Stock Recovery or Custom Recovery and Scatter File and Extract it in one Folder. (Scatter File is text file with .txt extension)

Step 3: Download SP Flash Tool (Smart Phone Flash Tool) and Extract it on your Computer. and Open flash_tool.exe. (i am using SP Flash Tool version 5.1516)

Step 4: when SP Flash Tool is launched, then Click on Download tab.

Step 5: In Download tab click on Scatter-loading and Browse the Scatter File. when you click on open then its load files.

Step 6: Now, Mark only Recovery for flash Recovery and Unmark other. then select Download Only for flash Recovery. Download Only option is not clear your internal memory.
Then, click on Download.

Step 7: Now, Power Off your phone and remove your battery if it removable

Step 8: Now, Connect your Android Phone to Computer Using Original USB Data Cable

Step 9: Now Flashing/Process is start and when its completed then a Right in Green Ring appear.

Step 10: Close the SP Flash Tool on your Computer and disconnect your Phone from computer. when Flashing is done then your phone is reboot and its take time
